Mid-Career Failure Stories?
I'm having that salty moment where I ponder the possiblity of those successfuly MF Associates and BB super-stars failing mid-career.
However, IB is just a safe path. I don't see how a VP/D could get fired even if s/he is completely incompetent because revenue generation doesn't really start at this level.
MF Associates: if they can pull tough hours they continue to make fuck-you money, no?
Anyone having any stories to share? No necessarily failures, but those who don't shine anymore.
I have seen directors be fired for using to many junior staff resources and not generating enough revenue.
