Cool story, but we don't know how much money he actually started with or when in fact he even started buying Nike. Obviously he will educate himself over the years and already has a great head start, but I doubt he was investing during the blowup of 2008...

 

I hate to take away from this story, but his investments were all luck. My dad gave me money to invest when I was 16, and I made a bunch of money but I don't take credit for doing anything special. This kid and me both invested during a bull market.
