MIM: Imperial College, Duke or I.E BS?
Hi guys!
I hope everybody is fine today, I just wanted your opinion as I am going to do a Master in Management next year.
I have a double Bachelor's degree in Law and English from a French university and a Programme Grande Ecole from a good but non target Bschool in France (which is the equivalent of a MIM to be honest but with internships) with a semester exchange program in Copenhagen. I have one year and two months of professional experience, I speak four languages (French, English Spanish and Japanese) and strong extra-curricular achievements.
I decided to do another MIM because my wish was to study in a top international business school after my bachelor's, however, as law was not my calling, my grades weren't so good and I had no quantitative background, so I decided to give a shot later on.
I have been accepted to the following schools so far :
Duke (Fuqua) for the MMS: DKU program, which takes place one semester in the US and the other in China. I got in with a merit scholarship which sounds great!
Imperial College for the Msc in International Management, which seems to be also a great program with cool study abroad opportunities.
I.E Business School for their Msc in Management Program, which is great and where I also got a (less important) scholarship.
I have been rejected at L.S.E for the Msc in Management and Strategy and at Cass (City U) which was my back up plan (you never know). I am still waiting from answers from King's College (which I probably won't consider), Cornell, Bocconi (which I will consider only if I get into the CEMS MIM or China MIM program) and Stanford (I applied for the MBA, I was eligible but I don't think I stand a chance...)
I am aiming towards Duke as the program will give me a double exposure in China and the USA and I already have a European background, thus I think it would be interesting to change continents. I want to work on the implementation of French luxury products in emerging markets or get a consulting job afterwords, I am not sure about where yet but I guess anywhere nice would be fine!
Nevertheless, I realize that all these schools are top-notch and I would like your opinion!
Thank you for your help,
Cheers!
