Missed out on McKinsey North America Office. Can I apply to European office?
Hi all,
I just narrowly got rejected (according to my interviewers) for a smaller North American office. I was wondering what everyone thinks of me applying to one of their European offices. Their Full-time recruitment cycle start later than in North America so I still have the time to network in.
There rules don't seem to say that it's not allowed...
I think you can. Don't you have to express preference for 3 offices when you apply anyway?
I did, but I put 3 offices in the same country and when talking to HR in Canada, it seems as though they communicate amongst themselves in Canada
Also, timeline wise, Europe is later I believe.
