MM HF or Sell Side ER out of undergrad?

In final year of undergrad and have an offer from a MM HF and an offer from a SS ER firm.

I want to go into HF, but I'm concerned that I'll be pigeon holed into a pod predicting EPS each quarter- which I don't think I'll have much of an edge doing. At the same time, it would be a huge shortcut to get into this firm right after undergrad, so I'm thinking that even if I'm fired after a couple years I would have a good exit.

At the SS ER firm I know that I will have a lot more help developing skills, and understand that people do exit to hedge funds after 2-3 years- would be interested to hear any takes on this.

I'd appreciate any advice, thank you!

Take the MM, this honestly shouldn't be a question

My main concern is about where junior analysts go after a stint at a MM - would appreciate any insight into this.

I like SS ER because you can exit into HF/AM/ Corporates etc, and the training is more comprehensive. How much optionality am I losing if I go with the MM, and if I'm decided on going into HFs, would choosing the MM limit the strategies I can exit into? I heard that some funds won't touch analysts who worked at MMs because of the impression that they just predict eps every quarter.
