Goldman hasn't been Goldman in decades and Moelis never has been or will be.

Allen & Co is the new Lazard though.

Can't be public and also be a partnership.

I think you are thinking it the Wrong way.

In terms of analyst Exits, yes it might be the "NEW GS", but as a firm as a whole... not even close

Evercore is the new Goldman. Moelis is in the conversation but it's not Evercore.

No, jackass. Goldman alumni and BSDs practically run the world. Moelis pays well at the Analyst level but is nowhere near the irreplaceable and influential institution that Goldman is.

Plus goldman has so many products, it's not really comparable it much ways other that some m&a advisory
