Morgan Stanley CSA vs Institutional Research

I was looking for some input on two job offers I have recently received. I was offered a client service associate position on MSSB which would consist of working for a group of FAs ( recently had an internship at smaller BD). MSSB is a well know name in the industry but it may be very difficult to move up the ranks.

I was also offered a job at an institutional research firm called ridgetop research that provides consulting research for large hedge funds and venture capitalists. Although the firm is much smaller, starting pay and opportunity for bonuses are a bit higher than the CSA position and I would have a better opportunity to get promoted sooner.

Which one do i go with, Any advice or input would be appreciated.
