Morgan Stanley M&A product group: list of deals?
So I understand that M&A is a product group, obviously. But within M&A at MS, will analysts focus on an industry? Or, can you be a generalist and do all industries?
Also, other than Bloomberg, where can I get a list of the deals MS is currently involved in or have recently closed?
Think of a matrix/grid system. M&A, ECM and DCM on one side and the sectors on another (eg consumer etc). Say there's a consumer M&A deal. They will take analysts from the consumer sector and analysts from the M&A sector.
You can find Morgan Stanley deals by googling the big deals that happened last year and typing 'financial advisors' after it - MS are bound to have worked on at least one of them.

Hi. I have a first round interview with Morgan Stanley coming up (IBD). I wanted to brush up on some M&A deals (or deals in general) that they have done recently. Does anyone know where is the best place to find information like this? Or even better, can anyone just tell me : )
No idea whether this is the best source, but here's one:
