Morgan Stanley Sustainable Investing Insights?

Hi all,

I came across the SA opportunity within Sustainable Investing at MS and could not find anything on WSO nor online. Anyone with insights to how the work/interview process is? Or with other BB's with similar positions? I am fairly interested in ESG and have been working with it as an intern in a long-only AM shop.

However, I am a bit afraid as the MS gig sounds a bit too pigeonholed into ESG and seems to not involve actual investing/research tasks?

I googled it quickly - if it's what I saw - I'm pretty confident that you will be supporting the marketing efforts, primarily, around their sustainable investment group/effort. You'll get a good feel for the market, research on things going on, producing pieces - you may end up doing lots of research, but you are supporting the marketing/sales effort not doing 'investment' work.
