Most desperate act you've witnessed for an attempt at a good grade

Because of COVID, school as well as exams are online, so my roommate (who is an applied math and econ double major) charged freshman and others sophomores 300 bucks to take their tests. Over the course of this past school year he accumulated around 4 grand.

I'm sure there are some other crazy stories out there.

in my semi-target (Northwestern/Chicago) I am almost certain that women slept with Professors. Would not at all be shocked if this goes on in the ivies along with hundreds of other schools.

LOL NGL if it was socially acceptable I'd consider fingerblasting my Proffessor for an A no questions asked.

Chinese exchange kids would always sit in the back and openly cheat on exams and share answers with each other while taking the exam. Not sure if anything ever happened to them because apparently it was a "culture barrier" and its acceptable where they're from (and they were paying the most out of anyone to attend so no way the school would expel them).

I was at this massive boat party on a yacht around Manhattan and I met this dude that said he would 'lie cheat and steal to get into HBS' - I thought it was a pretty funny statement, then I saw on LinkedIn he got into HBS. I never talked to him again and still don't know how he got in, but I think he was joking?

"If you always put limits on everything you do, physical or anything else, it will spread into your work and into your life. There are no limits. There are only plateaus, and you must not stay there, you must go beyond them." - Bruce Lee
