Most effective means to apply to a job: Linkedin, Company website, third party job search site (indeed, monster, etc)?
I have seen a number of instances where one job is being offered through a variety of different sites.
Which method is the most effective?
OCR at a target school
Already been working for a year and a half. Graduated from a non target.
Find someone close to the hiring manager and put your resume in front of them. Calling can be effective too if you're good on the phone. As well, recruiters doing a hunt for the position can get you an interview immediately if you fit the bill.
In general, as a non-target, any form of applying that doesn't involve some sort of direct communication is likely to fail. So to answer your question, pretty much every website you're applying to is an equally shitty means of applying to the position you want.
