I’m guessing this interview is virtual. The virtual format is a bit difficult to get used to. Here are some tips that have worked for me. First of all, resist the urge to read off of a script. The interviewer can see your eyes moving and will probably also detect a change in your voice. Not the best look. Secondly, pay attention to your appearance. Keep your eyes focused on your interviewer, keep your back straight, and smile often. It’s difficult to get those signs of confidence across in a virtual interview, so you almost need to slightly overdo it.

What I would recommend for you to do over this next week is practice practice practice. You probably have most of your answers prepared, but the delivery is just as important as the answer itself. Sit in front of your computer and record yourself answering various questions, then watch them back and correct any mistakes in body language you see. Also, time your answers. It’s best to keep your responses between 30s - 1min. Good luck!
