And he had a really shitty childhood, like, really, really shitty. Most people would probably take their time until 36 just to recover from that stuff and he just powered through it. He´s like a humble and friendly (and Asian) version of Arnold Schwarzenegger, just from that incredible drive and passion he emits.

Really shows the importance of two things: 1. Passion in knowing what you want (becoming strong -> warrior, wanting to save his charges -> physician) 2. Thoughtfulness and preparation (trained for the exact skillset, at any time)

Turned down head of CFPB and working at the Fed to be a professor, his excuse was he likes wearing Hawaiian shirts and shorts to work. Chillest dude ever.

I met a bigshot who told me he saw the resume of a former president's kid come across his desk. He also got a call from the former president just touching base on the status of his kid starting a career at said organization. He still had the cell number in his Blackberry to prove it to me.
Long story short, the kid rejected their offer.
