I wanted to start a discussion on what people think is the most interesting thing going on in the world right now. Why do you think its the most interesting?

Amount of negative yielding debt?
Hurricane Dorian?
Amazon fires?
Hong Kong protests?
Speculation that China isn't reporting growth properly?

These are just some ideas. I don't feel strongly about any of the above but would love to see a conversation more on the philosophical side of things.
