Does anyone have any experience recruiting for MM associate positions after joining an LMM as an analyst out of undergrad (so no banking background)? Is it difficult to get looks, or were you able to work your way into the recruiting pipeline?

Bump. I'm particularly interested in stories from those who went through this - did any headhunters contact you? Did you have to reach out to MM funds personally? Did you feel stuck at the LMM fund until BSchool or similar?
