Moving to CMBS Originations
I'm currently working as an analyst at a CRA doing CMBS new issuance and was wondering what skillsets would be important to transition into something like CMBS originations at a bank or lender. I know a few senior analysts who moved from a senior analyst role into the originations group at a bank so it's definitely possible, just want to know what the biggest hurdles might be and how to achieve that move.
