Moving to London HF from US

Hi all - was wondering if anyone here in the HF space has made the transition from the US to London and could shed light on their experience (likes, dislikes, culture differences, pay, etc.). I'm currently stateside in a multi-strat (analyst level) and evaluating potential opportunities (London would also be at well known multi-strat).

Some background on me in case you can make your feedback more relatable - I'm a bachelor, enjoy going out (whether dinner or something more bar/club-like), and don't have much tying me down here (admittedly idea of being that far from my family is daunting but not a deal killer). Eating healthy/working out 5-6x per week is core to my lifestyle. I'm a huge footy fan which is a big draw for me. I've also never been to Europe.

It's easy for me to get starry eyed over an opportunity like this and have big ideas in my head, but the realist in me is far more cautious. On the one hand, I see a ton of potential, but also know I could just be trading cities to end up with a similar work grind halfway across the planet. Would appreciate any advice and candid feedback.
