MS M&A execution LONDON - Is it that good?

I am aware how much love the MS M&A team gets over here, specially in the US.

However, does the same apply for the London office? Apparently, in London, many industry teams do the modelling in-house and the execution team is left with a lot of the admin work. Does anyone know if/to what extent this is actually true? How would you compare the Analyst experience to a top industry team (i.e Healthcare/Tech/M&T)?

Any insight would be helpful!!

I interviewed with a VP from MS M&A in London and asked him about this, he said that they do both originate and execute transactions from their group. That said, I know for JPM Cazenove they're M&A team is execution based and was created to help foreign companies deal with complex UK M&A legislation.

Someone who works in London will be able to provide more detailed insight. The above is just what I've been told by people who work in both groups. If you have an offer why not reach out to analysts working within the bank to set up coffess / calls and hear of their experience in M&A / industry groups?
