msc in finance from LSE vs. St.Gallen (side topic: Brexit)
Hi all,
So I have offers from both LSE (MSc finance and economics) and St. Gallen (banking and finance).
I am waiting for other offers from other unis, but I suspect that St. Gallen and LSE will remain my favorites in Europe, given that LSE is (most likely) best in the UK and St. Gallen is best in DACH (Germany, Austria and Switzerland). I have two preferences:
- To work in a country where I speak the local language (English or Polish) fluently. I have an EU and American citizenship, which gives me a lot of freedom.
- To work in asset management - in particular: private markets, ESG or general portfolio construction.
Which university do you think is best given my preferences and circusmtance? What role do you think Brexit will play in the European asset management job market.
Warm regards,
MM
The LSE brand is a lot more recognisable (internationally) in the financial industry.
You cannot go wrong with LSE.
