MSF Decision Time: Ohio State vs WUSTL-Singapore

Hello, I am a new poster. I recently came about this website while searching about the MSF program.

Background on me: I graduated from a pretty good LAC in the northeast. I have worked for a year and half after that and then my career wasn't really going anywhere so decided to apply for MSFs. I got interested in finance for about a year ago so please forgive if I don't know what's what.

The options available to me are as stated Ohio State, WashU- Singapore MSF program (I guess it is a new program).

I am Asian-American and always wanted to work in Asia for a while so when I got dinged at WUSTL MSF but accepted at WashU Singapore program I did not mind.

Ohio State is a B10 school so I guess it should be pretty good. But I don't really know anything about it. I am interested in equity research and have started studying for my CFA level 1.

Location does not really matter to me so which program would you recommend?

I saw someone listing their reasons for the WashU Singapore program here. I, myself, don't know much about it so take my advice with a grain of salt but international experience is something that helps you differentiate yourself from the pack.

Thank you for your reply. I just read that and it was written from the POV of an international student so it does not really much ground for me.

I would really like to get a great international experience but I don't know how well SMU is known in Asia. Also, I have to take loans out for both program and WashU program is a lot more expensive.
