MSF Placement Help

In the process of applying to MSF programs. My end goal post-MSF-graduation is to work in NYC or Chicago; however, if I am unable to land a FO IB role in either of those cities, my locational preference would be the south (Charlotte/Atlanta/Nashville). With that being said, should I be looking at WUSTL and Nova (from what I understand WUSTL places well in Chicago and Nova places well in NYC) or should I look more at Vanderbilt/Texas (places well in the south, maybe less in Chicago and NYC?)

I know there are a lot of discussion posts asking for MSF advice, but I feel as if my situation is slightly different since my top 2 locations would be NYC and Chicago with my 3rd being the south.

Any advice is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I can't comment on all the schools, but I think you need to spend more time looking at these programs and the career placement stats they put out. Vandy's top city for placements is NYC.

One thing I'd also recommend is find banks you'd like to work for in NYC or Chicago. Then go on LinkedIn and see how many alumni from the schools you're considering you can find working at those banks. Not just alum from MSF program, but alum from MBA & UGrad as these are all potential connections. That'll give you a good idea of how the networking will go coming from one of these schools.
