MSF: Profile eval. and univ. selection advice
Hello folks.
I need some advice regarding my profile and where to apply for MS Finance considering my (slightly unusual) profile. I am a US citizen who studied in an Indian university so may be considered a domestic applicant. Considering my citizenship, I will NOT require a visa or sponsorship/OPT. Therefore, it is not necessary that I enroll in a STEM program. More details are as follows:
Citizenship: USA
Degree: Bachelor of Technology
Major: Mechanical Engineering
Overall GPA: 2.7/4.33 (WES eval. pending)
Last 4 semesters (70 credits) GPA: 3.14/4.33 (Ended up with an almost perfect GPA in the last semester)
GMAT: 670
IELTS: 8 bands
I have made a list of potential universities that I can apply to. I need to cut this list down to about 10 universities. Will appreciate all your advice. I guess my GPA is what is going to hold me back.
