MSF programs for consulting

Looking to get advice on MSF programs (I know it's been discussed before but the posts seem a little outdated). I am currently applying to Vanderbilt and UT Austin MSF programs and wanting to get into management/strategy consulting (also open to possibly IB or ER roles)
US student; double major in accounting and finance
GPA: 3.7 from complete non target state school (honors program)
GMAT: 690
Work exp: will have one year experience in manufacturing F500 finance rotation program
(Due to scholarships I have minimal student debt so attending a MSF program wouldn't be too financially draining)
I know MBB is probably out of the question but big 4 and tier 2 consulting firms seem to recruit from both schools. My other option is moving into big 4 Audit right now and trying to transition into TAS or a more finance related role and then improving GMAT score to get into a good MBA program. Looking for advice on which option would work best. Thanks!

Rev: Also looking into UVA MS commerce and doing the finance track because the recruiting seems strong.
