"My Dad Owns Half Of F*cking Manhattan"

Trying to find it funny but it's pathetic that shit-stains like this exist. Sure, he's hammered...but have some class guy. This is just embarrassing. Seems to be going around Twitter like wildfire.

I can't even tell wtf is happening here aside from that fact that:

1) blue shirt is fucked up. 2) his girl is embarrassed to be seen with him, but her friend is there too so its ok? 3) velvet sport coat dude thinks a dunkin donuts bag is a weapon. 4) camera guy is super tall sometimes, and other times not. 5) velvet sport coat dude thinks that his dad, a real estate agent, owns half of nyc.

Is this guy and his friends anyone special or just douche bags (and even if their dads are someone special, they're still d-bags)? But I hesitate to throw stones in a glass house because while I never even claimed my dad owned half of a dog house and paparazzi didn't care what I did, I'm sure at some point in my youth I was this much of an ass.

Definitely not the worst thing, and as I watch it I struggle to look back at all the times I've been truly past the point of rational thought and hope I never did anything like this...but I'm pretty sure I haven't.

Of course my dad doesn't own half of Manhattan so what do I know.

New York Post:

The obnoxious alleged heir to “half of Manhattan” is not who he says he is. The man seen in a viral video after a boozy brunch claiming his name was “Gerry Adjmi” and boasting his dad “owns half of Manhattan,” has considerable influence with Mayor Bill de Blasio and “owns the cops” is actually 20-year-old NYU student Gerry Shalam. According to The Smoking Gun, Shalam is a New York University student whose father Lou does not own half of Manhattan — but is in fact a garment industry executive who lives in Allenhurst, New Jersey. According to the report, Shalam is the co-founder of a charity called Brothers Helping Others that helps low-income immigrant families in New Jersey. Insufferable Shalam shot to fame as the “Belligerent Bruncher,” as he was caught on video after emerging from popular brunch spot Pranna, saying lines including, “Do you want me to call f—g Bill de Blasio on you right now? He’s a f—–g liberal but I’ll f—g call him.” Before Shalam shot to fame as the “belligerent bloke on the block,” he appeared as Scarecrow in the 2007 production of “Hip Hop Wiz,” based on “The Wizard of Oz,” that benefited the Jewish Community Center in Deal, New Jersey. http://pagesix.com/2014/07/01/obnoxious-alleged-heir-to-half-of-manhatt…
