Navigating FT 2020 Recruiting As a SA

Monkeys,

I'm sure I'm not the only one interning at BB/EB IB this summer who is thinking of switching to PE in 2020. I've been getting a few looks from reputable shops, and have a superday in a couple of weeks for a FT position.

We summer analysts are done with training this week and join our groups next week, and my superday is scheduled on a weekday sometime thereafter. How should I go about navigating this opportunity? Obviously I can't really take four hours off during my first few weeks on the desk, but I don't even really know what alternatives to recommend to the PE HR apart from trying to squeeze it in during training or making the unreasonable request for a Saturday superday.

How have you dealt with this timing issue in the past?
