Pharmacist looking to break into Finance Career

Hey guys, I've been a lurker here for a while now, I've finally created an account here, and nice to meet you all!

In a nutshell, I'm a 25 year old pharmacist looking to break into the Finance world. However, I do not know how and where to start (i.e should I get a CFA, MBA, go back to school for finance degree, or apply for entry level finance positions?), and therefore am here to learn more about this industry, as well to hopefully gain some advice from the knowledgeable people here.

Long story short, it would be much appreciated if anyone can shed some light on the most practical way towards possibly jump-starting a career in finance (or even accounting if it's more realistic), and whether it is really worth it to do so right now. Thanks in advance :)

I don't think getting another bachelors degree will be useful, particularly from distance learning.

With your pharmacy background, you could be an interesting candidate for ZS, Navigant, or one of the other consulting firms that specializes in healthcare. Networking, meeting people from these firms, and convincing them you have something to bring to the table is important here.
