Need Advice ASAP: P/NP Class Decision

Hey everyone,

I've been doing solidly in my math class this semester (routinely a bit above the median, which has been about a C+). I'm a third year, 3.9 GPA math major with a BB SA job for next summer, and I hope to get my MBA after IB->PE. My professor just dropped a bomb on everyone and said the final grade average for the class will be about a B- (2.7 GPA). This is wayyyy below the curve for every other math class I've taken (6 so far). I've never gotten a B in any of my math classes, but this is an absurdly low class avg, well below the GPA average for my school (which doesn't even have any grade inflation). I'm planning on killing the final, but given his insane grading scheme, the chances of an A aren't great. So, my question is: should I switch to the Pass/No Pass option that I am granted because of COVID? I need to decide by today. Thanks guys.
