Here's the thing: I want to be there for my grandparents and the boutique's in a city where I want to be long-term (it's generally quite rare for me to be able to work there... almost like a white non-chinese speaking person finding something in Beijing). The boutique's director/SVP wants to meet in person before making a decision, and lucky me he's flying into NYC.
