Need advice picking out new tie

Just got promoted to a level where it's finally acceptable to wear higher end clothing. First order of business...get a new hermes tie. It's kinda hard to figure out what looks the most classic/timeless, is there anyone out there who can help a brother out?

Thanks in advance

I hate pulling ideas from movies, especially ideas from movies with Shia Labeouf. But I can't help but love the tie he has on in the meeting at the beginning. Mainly because the knot is a different pattern from the rest of the tie. Anyone know what kind of tie that is?

It really depends on what you are wearing. Simplest guess is go for the budget and material required, match the color of your suit to increase the tonal difference between your hair and skincolor to the right level, use a handkerchief or some blasses to work your eyes into the front, and use tie IN COMBINATION WITH your shirt and jacket to highlight different scents in your skintone.

And keep the colors simple as possible and keep in mind what you are doing with your patterns. There's plenty of book on ebook sites. I'm moving and can't tell the names now.

And: never ask a salesperson. And don't buy over the internet. You never know how it works with its context by looking at a highly saturized color.

If you want to impress your boss, get one of these cheap devices that measure the frequency spectrum at work and ask in some dandy fora what they say how this works with your skin and the colors you use.

if you have like spot-light and no real room light, like in the evenings, you usally use sharper patterns on your time than on the golf court. ;)
