Need GMATS asap - how long to cram?

basically my life and trading career is not going to move forward until I get the stupid GMAT

Need to get high 700, Starting from scratch, locking myself in room, turning my phone off ......

  • how long can I do this in? A week/fortnight?

  • Which study materials do I need/ do you recommend?

  • If anyone else has done this - how did you do it?

Finally come to the realisation - tests like SEI. GMAT. IMC CFA .... no need to give them more importance that what they deserve. Intensive cramming and getting them done in short impossible time frame is the only way to go.

The answer to your question is dependent on how good you already are at maths and english. If you haven’t done any maths in the past four years, then you are inevitably going to have a harder time than someone coming from a quantitative background.

I would recommend spending at least 3 weeks on revision if you are going for 700+. The reason being that if you get an unsatisfactory score, you have to wait 16 days to re-take the exam, so you really want to be sure you ace it the first time you take it if time is a concern.
