Need help deciding between opportunities

I am currently a analyst at a top brokerage house in a top market working in the Capital Markets Group. I have been working there for 2 years and now have 2 different job offers set before me.

One is with a GSE seller servicer where I would be with a top team as an analyst and would transition towards production after a year or 2. Pay is 70 + bonus seems to be mobility and I would get to travel.

The other is with a top five developer of a niche retail product. The origination is pretty flat so I don't think I would have much mobility. Pay is 68.5 + bonus and after a few years with the company I get a life time quarterly bonus based on how long I stay/stayed. Bonus only comes from their ground up devs.

My dilemma is that I always wanted to take my career down the development path or the finance path, but I never thought I would have choice.

So I guess I am looking for insight from people who have had to make similar choices or people who have worked in either field and what would you chose?

What does the developer do?

A third option you mentioned is not to take either. You can generate a lot of leverage if you are networking with other firms and reference that you are interested in their company but are operating on a short fuse due to two outstanding offers. It works like magic because your value is instantly legitimized by the fact that two other groups already have enough confidence in your skills to offer you a job.
