Need help on graduate school decision - urgent
Hi guys, I am a senior in UCLA, and I really need help on deciding the right program for my graduate study.
the program admitted:
- UCLA - Economics
- John Hopkins - MSF
- Boston University - Economics
Target industry after graduation: Bulge Bracket ( M&A or coverage)
I know UCLA and John Hopkins are semi-target for most of the recruiting, but I am concern about the master program here. Which one has the better chance of getting into bulge bracket. I think it is better to tell a story during the interview if I continue to study at UCLA, this would give more advantage? What do you guys think? Thanks a lot.
It's urgent !!!!!!!
UCLA if you want to stay in IB, Johns Hopkins if you want to branch out into other areas (I think there's a lot of commodity business happening in the Baltimore area.
I think Boston is an amazing city (especially if you want to go the quant/econometrics route), but you'll be competing with Harvard/MIT/BC/UMass/Northeastern students for jobs, whereas UCLA and JH dominate their regions in terms of prestige.
Have you already been admitted to these schools?
Thanks a lot bro. I am thinking about boosting my GPA during master. It hurts ......during recruiting. Yeah, I am still deciding which one to go...OMG~
