I have that suit. It's fine. I actually like the color a lot.
I don't think that's a bad suit, it doesn't look that great on the model, but the color is dark enough that it's fine. Any lighter, and I would have to give the suit a thumbs down though.
Also this might be besides the point, but I don't understand how bankers who are starting out with six figure salaries have to resort to "measure yourself and hope you're lucky" suit shops. I'm currently interning at a top three BB (JPM, MS, GS) in IB and I just dropped $1400 on a dark navy suit? (Also, before you guys call me out, my suit before that was from Goodwill) I thought that's what the starting bonus was for these days.....

I think the color is OK. A darker selection is going to be the safest bet.
