Need some advice for jobs, school

Posted in another thread as well.

So let me just give you the quick rundown. I am concluding my Junior year at a four year university. I have a 3.3 gpa and am currently on target to graduate with roughly a 3.6. Here comes the bad news:

During my sophomore year, as we all have had times in life where we slipped up, I decided it would be better to screw off and party, have fun, etc, and it caused me to get off track. In one single semester, I withdrew from my classes and got an F in my last one. (withdrawals went in as W's).
I then decided to get my (you know) together. I retook the F immediately the next semester and got an A. I retook a few other classes as well got A's and B's.

I screwed up yes. But I retook my classes, turned things around, and haven't gotten a C since, I've gotten 11 A's and 4 B's. The question is this: How bad of shape am I in, since every W and that F is on my transcript? I hate to put it this way but I want you to be blunt, am I a lost cause or since I've retaken them and turned things around am I in ok/pretty good shape?
I am interested in becoming an investment banking analyst or financial analyst. I love the desk job.

Thank you for any and all advice.

Kev

I think this will be less of an issue in job applications than in graduate school applications. But, its not even a real ding in grad school applications if you explain yourself well and re-take the classes if possible (as you have).
