Needed: Undergraduate B-School Transfer Advice?
Good afternoon, I'm currently a undergraduate business student at a small SUNY school double majoring in Finance and Mathematics. I thoroughly enjoy my school experience, but have been told that despite succeeding at this university, it would not stand out to employers hiring on Wall Street.
I'm conflicted in deciding which schools to apply to in order to better secure a future career on Wall Street, any advice would be greatly appreciated!
My current GPA is - 3.88

Board Member of the Dean's Student Advisory Board
Board Member of the Budget and Finance Committee

I have decided to apply to NYU, University of Michigan, UPENN, Notre Dame, Boston University. I'm not sure if these are the only schools that I should be applying to, as this is my last chance apply to transfer. Thanks in advance!
You have hit most of the targets for undergrad business programs. Stern, Ross, McIntire (at UVA), and Tepper (at CMU) are what follow Wharton. Make sure you are applying to those programs and not to the university as a whole, i.e. being at UMich does not help you for recruiting if you are not at Ross. UPenn does not get the same OCR as Wharton.
If you wish to pursue finance, you don't have to attend business programs. Apply to some Ivies as well, each of them gets arguably more love than any of the other programs mentioned so far.
This is incorrect. Undergraduate Penn has the same OCR across all three schools–The College, Wharton, and SEAS.

But this is because Penn is an elite Ivy League school. For NYU and Michigan, which are relatively mediocre schools however, there is a vast difference in the sort of OCR Stern/Ross students get, and what the rest of the university gets.
Thanks! Also, do you think doing 'Wall Street Prep' and getting the certification would help boost my application to transfer? Since the transfer rates are so low, I'm trying to find various ways to boost my application in any way possible...
I've always considered those programs to be pointless, but there are many here who think the opposite, so idk.
Also, if you're in California, I would recommend Berkeley Haas over all of those schools. Fantastic placement on WC, relatively cheap, and decently easy to get into provided you have a >3.5 GPA.
Tepper doesn't accept transfers and Ross only takes sophomore transfers. Look into Cornell you seem to have a solid chance and they take a decent number of transfer students (especially in state) - part of the land grant requirements that AEM is held to.
Are you sure that Ross only accepts Sophmore Transfers? I can't seem to locate this piece of information anywhere...
You can enroll in Ross as a Junior but you will have to stay in Ross for 3 years before graduating ( technically sophomore?)
Oh yes, completely forgot about Cornell's lenience with transfers.
