Needham & Company LLC - Menlo Park Office
Hey guys,
Has anyone ever interviewed or worked for Needham & Company (especially in the Menlo Park office)? What's their culture like?
What can an intern or new analyst expect? I remember someone saying that all analysts do is pitch. I mean, that's expected, but I would like to be in an environment where I can be part of the deal process, build models, and contribute in a meaningful way.
How does the compensation, hours, and perks (if any) compare with other boutiques or even BBs?
If one does exceptionally well, would it be possible to someday transition to another firm around Sand Hill Road? This would be ideal.
Thanks.
I can only speak to compensation from a few years ago (pre-recession). Pre-recession Needham & Co. had a reputation for paying below-market compensation.
They're nice guys. Compensation is lower, but your hours shouldn't be grueling.
Not sure what to expect in terms of work for the interns though.
bump!
would love some more info as well
I just applied to a position at their Boston office. I've heard they are pretty well respected in the technology sector. Will let you know if I make it farther in the process.
