I said that I will accept the job offer, can I still negotiate salary?

A recruiter offered me a job on the phone and I said that I would accept the job. I thought it would be wise to receive a formal offer before salary negotiations. Did I do this wrong? How should I go about negotiating? Do I negotiate with HR instead? Thanks in advance!

If you didn't sign a contract yet I would still negotiate.

what do you mean a recruiter offered you a job on the phone

usually recruiter pitches position to you

you interview with firm

firm submits offer

you negotiate

... it didn't happen that way?

This sounds like a quick way to start off on the wrong foot.

Just had my trade dispute rejected by Schwab for a loss of 35k. This single issue alone should be a gigantic red flag to anyone who trades on their platform. If they have a system error, and you do not video record your trading (they actually said this), they will not honour their fuck up. Switching everything away from them. Fuck this company.
