Nervous about full-time consulting recruiting
Anyone in the same boat? It seems like I'm putting all my eggs in one basket, and I'm scared that I'll end up graduating (May '15) without any job at all.
Bit about me: I didn't know I wanted to do consulting until halfway through my internship this past summer. Didn't really like the industry/business that I was in and my line manager actually spent 25+ years in consulting, always telling me his stories about traveling and the diverse work that he is doing. Just really started to study case in point and take a gander at cases last week..and its still pretty foreign to me. Worried that I won't be able to get ready for full time recruiting in time.
I have decent extracurricular experience, 4.0/4.0 gpa in finance, internship in commodity analytics after sophomore summer and a internship at a oil major in their trading arm this summer but I'm still worried that isn't enough. Sometimes I wish I knew consulting was for me when I was a freshman or something...would have made life ALOT easier!
If anyone needs someone to practice cases with for full-time recruiting..please let me know.
