Networking/Developing Relations With Clients
Hi Everyone,
I was just wondering if anyone here actualyl networks or actively try to develop relations with clients they do deals with (at a junior/analyst level). I work at a Canadian IB and some of the clients are fascinating/intelligent people with interesting businesses. My intent is to not land an exit from networking/developing relations, but to primarily develop relations and and have someone's brain to pick along with expanding my network.
I've come across a couple stories where analysts have landed an exit this way but wanted to know if it's a common phenomena? And how often do the people on here try to do this?
