New to WSO - Junior Financial Management Major
Hey everyone,
A friend told me about this site a few weeks ago, and ever since I've been on it non stop. I figured I would go ahead and introduce myself and become an active member of the community; seems like an awesome site.
I'm a Junior Financial Management major at an ACC school looking to get a SA position. One of my major strengths is my experience in the technology field alongside a finance education - I was part of a start up education software company and also hold multiple finance leadership positions. I've been thinking about getting into trading and analyzing tech companies since that is a big hobby of mine, but I'm open to any suggestions on what to do with this skillset in the finance industry. My GPA is a solid 3.6. I would really appreciate it if anyone wants to critique my resume, by the way:

One bit on the resume (and this is really small and nit-picky), but under computer skills you might want to change Google Docs to Google Apps for Business. That's what Google is calling it these days and it encompasses the entire suite (Docs, Drive, Calendar, etc...), each of which I'm sure you're familiar with.
As for advice: If it flies, floats, or fucks you're better off renting it.
