No Callback, What to Do?

Basically I spoke to the owner of a small firm that I had been interested in interning with and felt we hit it off well. He told me call in a couple weeks to make an appointment to speak further. I called a few days ago, he was in a meeting and the secretary said he would call me back but he never did.

Should I call him, email,or wait? I don't want to be a bother but time is definitely a factor.
Thanks in advance all.

Call him again, he probably just forgot. It's already mid-April, he should understand that you are anxious to get an internship lined up this late in the game (I am assuming this summer).

Yes, this is for the summer. I am just not sure how to approach the phone call; I don't want to point out that I called but he forgot to call me back. Any suggestions on how to go about calling? I apologize if this sounds juvenile but it will be my first finance internship and my last summer before graduation to do one.

I would send an e-mail saying hey just wanted to follow up on our last conversation. Is there any day this/next week that would work best for you?

His asst forgot, he forgot, or there's no job. So what's your worst scenario, you continue to not have a job there? There's no down-side. Not following up shows lack of interest if anything.

Call again, if his secertary says she he is not available, ask her if there is a good time you can call when he will be available. If you are able to speak with him just start off by saying something such as "I know you are a busy man, but I have been looking forward to furthering our discussion on my possible summer employment with your firm. I have a passion for industry X and I am excited about the possibilty of learning alongside someone as successful as you. Is now a good time for you or would you like me to call back?" ..and go from there.
