Hey guys,
So i am a rising junior at Cornell with a 3.5 and long story short I had some injury problems throughout my last semester which caused me to have some operations/surgeries this summer and not be able to do an internship. Last summer I worked in PWM. I'm wondering how this gap is going to affect me for recruiting in the fall for Summer 2019. I am not going for IB, but maybe commercial real estate or investment management. Thanks

Recovering from surgery is a legitimate reason to not have an internship. It's not like you spent all summer getting wasted. I would note it down on your CV somehow and perhaps so something online (a course or something) to show you were committed to doing something.
