Dell Keyboard
Is anyone using a dell km636 keyboard? I was wondering if it’s slanted upward and if it is can you make it flat? does anyone have any other keyboard suggestions that are relatively inexpensive?

I like the Apple Magic Keyboard the best for Mac or the Lenovo standard keyboard you get with the machines.
If anyone is considering the original Raspberry Pi keyboard: don't. it is not great. only for emergencies.

Thanks for the input. I’m actually not too big of a fan of the Apple keyboard since I’ve used a pc all my life. I’ll take a look into the Lenovo keyboards too
Anything mechanical, believe there are decent mechanical keyboards that are around $50-60. Look for Cherry, Romer, Razer, Gateron switches are all ok.
I’ve noticed a lot of people on here have been saying to get a mechanical keyboard. I didn’t even know about them until I saw a post about it yesterday. Is there really any benefit to getting one other than that they last about 5x longer? In that case it is definitely more economical to do so but I am also wondering if it’ll be weird to switch back to a normal keyboard once I begin my job and have to go to the office
It is a personal preference. Mechanical keyboards will: last longer, be heavier/more sturdy, but the most important part (to people who make the change) is the “feedback” (tactile, sound, etc) of the keyboard when using them. They are also highly customizable (so you can play around and find what you like).
Many firms will allow you to either expense them for office use (not to take home but to keep in the office) or bring in your own if it is important to you. If you bring one in, don’t get loud (I.e. blue) switches unless you are sure the people around you won’t mind.
Also in case I don’t choose to get a mechanical does anyone have any suggestions for a regular keyboard?
Get a full sized keyboard with a numpad and practice using the numpad. You'll be able to type in numbers very fast and accurately after some practice, without even looking down. Super helpful to become an Excel warrior. I also like keyboards with some media controls on there so I can turn down volume etc. if I'm playing music through my computer instead of my phone.

I actually use that exact wireless keyboard and mouse. No issues here
I actually chose to go with the dell km636. I've always liked dell keyboards my only problem with this one was the slight tilt of the keyboard that doesn't look like you can make it go flat. Although most of the regular wireless keyboards I looked up all had a slight tilt but I didn't really want to waste more time looking and just chose to go with this bc im familiar with dell's keyboards.

Logitech K735S is my favorite wireless multi-device keyboard. Works great on both windows and Mac.
I would also recommend the Logitech MX-Master 3S for your mouse.
