Non-Target, BB internship (BO), look for spring co-op or continue w/ fall recruiting?

As the title says, I interned in the BO at a BB on the east coast this past summer. I'm at a non-target school but am leaning towards pursuing wealth management/PWM in New York. I have been in contact with a recruiter internally with what I'm looking to do and am waiting to hear back regarding an interview based on accepted/declined offers, but I'm wondering if it would be beneficial to look for a spring co-op at a reputable wealth management firm or just continue with fall recruiting/networking and see how things go. My only reasoning for searching for a spring co-op is to look more attractive to employers within PWM... Any thoughts?

Additionally, if I receive an offer in the BO role I was in, will that negatively affect my ability to interview elsewhere internally or will that be seen positively by HR?

edit: I'm a senior...
