Non-Target Freshman

Hello everyone. I'm a freshman at a non-target state school in New Jersey majoring in Mathematics of Finance. I've wanted to work on Wall Street since I was in high school. The main reason I went to the non-target state school was really just because of money. I understand that trying to break into Wall Street from a non-target is difficult but feasible if you begin early enough, and so that's what I'm doing.

So far, I have helped co-found an investment management fund at my school which I plan to work on and be a part of throughout my four years. I've also joined a M&A competition at my school which is sponsored by S&P. Other than that, I'm just doing my best to network with faculty and alumni and make as many connections within the industry as I can.

WSO and M&I have been huge aids in helping me figure out an initial plan on how to break into Wall Street from a non-target. That's why I decided I'll finally make an account. Thanks to everyone who's been a help so far.
