I am a rising senior from a non target in NY. I have really done my best to try stand out on my resume and applications but have had trouble landing internships that I actually want due to my school. I have take the best internships I could find and were offered to me.
I am very interested in trading and equity research. However, FO will be near impossible to go directly into. One of my mentors who is a trader advised me to attempt to secure a role in MO trading such as a trading assistant. So on top of the review and critique I would appreciate if anybody could share ideas of what BO/MO/even FO i should be applying to.
FT applications are beginning and I need your guys help, also anyone who was in a similar situation and could share how they beat the system feel free to PM me!

PS - The PWM i have considered getting rid of completely, it was a month winter internship where i honestly did nothing but admin work and food runs. Opinions on this aswell!

Here's my take on it:
I prefer the Jun 2015 - Present , Feb 2015 - May 2015 better. It's just me, but the numbers just look weird to me in that format with resumes.
Make those dates align to the left of the document.
Consultant Intern Sounds Stupid. I like 'Financial Consultant - Intern' or 'Financial Analyst - Intern' or anything.
Also, as if you didn't know this, QUANTIFY YOUR RESUME. Ex. Conducted analysis of business development spending as percentage of collections ... becomes Conducted a 15 page analysis of spending of business development groups as in relates to collections
Ex. #2 Analyzed financial statements to understand the performance of a company ... becomes Analyzed approximately 30 company's financial statement(ranging from 100MM to 500MM in revenue) to understand their performance in relation to competitors.
You need more meet, you need to stop using the word conduct. Conducted needs to show up once per section and honestly every other would be better. Conducted could also be : Fabricated, Designed, Performed, Researched, Reconciliated, etc. Stop using the word conduct, that'd piss me off.
Eliminate these words as well and replace: Used, Worked.
Too much white space, you need to fill it in through quantifying or fluffing. If you really want help PM me on that, but overall its pretty simple idea.
Your grammar is terrible I spot three or four errors and I'm not even trying.
You're proficient at public speaking? Look up the Mergers and Inquisitions format, thats the gold standard. You'll then realize how stupid that sounds.
Sorry to be harsh, but I'd do anything to have your GPA and you're going to lose potential job offers because of resume formating. If I had your GPA I could do some crazy stuff.
