Non-Target to T-2 Consulting w strong connection?

Hi,
I go to a large state school in California. A Non-Target for Deloitte S&O (Major Target for Human Capital and BTA), I have a 3.2.

I am President of my consulting club; 1st place in a schoolwide strategy consulting case competition. Business Analyst/Financial Analyst at Fortune 60 in silicon valley sophomore year. Corp Dev at high growth tech company in the Bay (think Salesforce level) for junior year internship.

An alumni of my school is the Managing Director and head of an entire National Service line. My question is, would it be possible to land an interview at S&O with me being at a non-target and having a low GPA, despite having a strong connection and a decent resume.

I have a lunch set up with him/her next week, any suggestions on anything specific I should try to talk about/how to ask if he can land me an interview?

Any help would be much appreciated, thanks in advance!
