Career Resources
No. No one gives a shit. If this was a thing, it would likely be the other way around where people with bachelors would look down on masters students as typically for people entering IB, a masters is done to add a year on to recruiting as they failed to break in as an undergraduate.
Yes, no one cares :). That's where France has a massive problem. Mentalities much change!!!!
In BB IB, moving to Large Cap PE, only few people questionned me about it and I always have the same story which makes people smile - “why would I want to study for 1-3 more year paying 10-30k per year to end up in the same spot? Doesn’t sound like a good investment to me, I can always do one later on if I feel the need to or if I want to make a career change”.
In London, nobody cares - the offices are way more diverse and inclusive be it in terms of background, citizenships, languages, studies, major etc. For instance, it is not rare to see an analyst who has done an undergrad in history or philosophy or politics and has no masters. In regional offices: Paris requires a master for entry-level jobs. Frankfurt has no requirements but you will be heavily discriminated by both fellow interns who all have masters and also by teams, managers, staffers etc even if they're the one who recruited you - pretty ironic isn't it?
