Not sure what to do
Hey everyone,
So I am a rising junior at a non-target (Carlson School of Mangement) and have been trying to get into Investment Banking for a while now. I have talked to 60+ bankers and applied to every bank I can think of. I have a 3.7 gpa. Nothing has been working. I have gotten one response (from Piper Sandler) which resulted in a super day. It went great but I did not get the role. I feel a bit defeated and am not sure how to continue given that recruiting season will pass by fast. At the moment I am very open to career choices and am looking for a second option - think consulting, public accounting, equity research. I just want to put long hours in and have a high salary. What can I do? Do you have any advice? Anything is appreciated. Thank you for your time.
