Now that there Street is fillwed with blood, what is the best move? Law School? Big 4?

It will be interesting to see how this shakes out. There just aren't going to be many jobs to be had. You are about to go from five pure plays to two (Just MS and GS left). Also, if you aren't at a top, top school I believe you will have a very tough time getting a W$ job-it isn't even a certainty for those kids.

best post ive seen on WSO in relation to this crisis - what the fuck do we do now???

corp law going to get hit by slowdowns from ib problems most likely.... big4 i expect will hold up better but i mean before this mini crisis happened there was already layoffs around 3% of employees at Big4 like Deloitte.

what now ??

Accounting should be pretty steady, particularly with the upcoming transition to International Accounting Standards.

Jack: They’re all former investment bankers who were laid off from that economic crisis that Nancy Pelosi caused. They have zero real world skills, but God they work hard. -30 Rock
